Eye of the Hurrican is a work of art that consists of two blue-painted oyster shells, mounted to a Baroque frame. The Oyster shells are painted with flowers on Delft Blue Porcelain that had originally inspired Negar to create these works of art.
Negar named this piece "Eye of the Hurricane", which refers to the empty space between the two shells that have the same shape as the eye of the Hurricane when viewed from above. This is the calmest space within a Hurricane.
Negar plays with the natural curve of the shells and Baroque elements to create beautiful works of art.
