These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Gallery Sorelle Sciarone's Website, located at gallerysorellesciarone.com.

All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner for the express purpose of meeting the Client's needs in respect of provision of the Company's stated services, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing law of Netherlands. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalization and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.

Delivery Terms 

• After the sale of a work, we will confirm the sale within three days. After confirmation of sale, the art work will be shipped within 10 days of the initial purchase. Within the EU, most paintings will be deliverd within 5 working days, but please allow 10-15 working days, due to the items being paintings. 
• All art work sold over the website is including tax, but excluding other levy's imposed by governments, if work is shipped outside of the European Union (E. U.).
• On art a 9% tax is imposed on the total sale in the E.U.
• Shipping and returns are free.
• A signature is needed at delivery and purchases will be shipped with a track and trace code.

 

 

We use a wide variety of custom and public postage services depending on the size and value of the artwork shipped. Most paintings under 100cm in size will be shipped with POSTNL and larger paintings are shipped through DHL. More expensive paintings are shipped with custom carriers specialised in art transport. 

 

 

 

Product Information & Warranties 

We sell art work through four channels, our website, Artsper, Artsy.net and on art fairs. On art fairs all sales on the floor are final and via the website different terms apply, according to Dutch law.

 

FINAL SALE: All our art is for sale on the website. However, it can happen that the artist has decided to keep, give or sell the work to another. Or that the work is lost or damaged, before we can ship it to you. When you buy an art work, we will confirm the payment and the date  shipping. Only then can the sale be seen as final. If your art work can not be delivered, we will let you know and will be transferred back by similar payment methods. Please allow for a week to see the payment returned on your given channel.

 

ART: Sizing of items is in regards to the piece itself and not eventual frames. Some art work is custom sized and a margin of error should be allowed in sizing. The colour of an art work may differ from computer to computer screen. The descriptions of the artwork is a combination of subjective and objective interpretation of an art work. An objective description of formal characteristics of the art work and a subjective interpretation. The artist, gallery owner and client may have very different takes on the interpretation of the art work. That is what makes it great art.

 

Right to cancel 

You can cancel your purchase anytime before we send the work, with no additional costs. Once a work is sent, we will refund your purchase only after we are again in the possession of the art work. According to Dutch Law, the purchase may be cancelled and returned without cause within 14 days of receiving the package. Our return policy allows for 30 days. 

If you are not satisfied with your artwork from Gallery Sorelle Sciarone, art work may be returned within 30 days. The artwork must be in original condition; we do not accept refunds for products showing any signs of wear or damage. Take pictures of your work and add them to the form before sending an item back. 

 

Custom made or specially ordered pieces are created especially for, and based on, the exact requirements of each individual client and therefore may not be returned or exchanged. For example, if custom framing is requested, or a painting is commissioned.

 

Your return package should include the item, along with any original packaging and documents that came with it. Please read how we ship the painting for tips on how to ship the painting yourself. Go to your local post office or carrier, have the item fully insured for the purchase price. Ask for a return receipt for confirmation that your shipment has reached us.

 

Once the item is received by Gallery Sorelle Sciarone, we will inspect the art work. After the item is verified, we will issue a refund in the same way payment was made. Please allow up to seven business days upon our receipt of the returned item for this process to take place. 

 

Payment Terms 

Art work is either directly bought on fairs, our website has a plethora of electronic payment possibilities. We only accept payments through the electronic options. A full payment is required when an order is placed by a customer. Until payment has actually cleared, no orders will be dispatched. In the case where payment does not clear, Gallery Sorelle Sciarone has a right to cancel the order completely. 

 

License

Unless otherwise stated, Gallery Sorelle Sciarone and/or its licensors own the intellectual property rights for all material on Gallery Sorelle Sciarone. All intellectual property rights are reserved. You may access this from Gallery Sorelle Sciarone for your own personal use subjected to restrictions set in these terms and conditions.

You may not:

Wedding Gift Certificates

Wedding date should be after 3 May 2019. The products are shipped according to normal delivery terms and product information policies. Normal return policy also apply.

We hope our customers make fair use of this, by not abusing the underlying principle. This gift certificate is for wedding gifts, and not to be abused as to get discount on our entire range. We will issue these certificates when we have a 'save the date' announcement or wedding invitation. We will ask for this before sending the certificate. The certificate is made out to the couple and can only be redeemed by them. The certificate can not be redeemed for cash.
