This piece consists of ten blue painted oyster shells mounted on a baroque frame. The Oyster Shells are painted with flowers on Delft Blue Porcelain that initially inspired Negar to create these works of art.

The artwork is aptly named "Tree of Life" because the Tree of Life symbolizes personal development, uniqueness and individual beauty. Just as the branches of a tree grow stronger and grow up to the sky, so too do we grow stronger and seek more knowledge, wisdom, and new experiences as we move through life. This artwork is a pivotal artwork of Negar Rashidi.
